TECHNOLOGY LAB
          
Explorations in technology is a course that enables students in grades 6-8 to 
explore the various aspects of technology and how it effects their every day 
lives. Students are allowed to identify 6 areas of interest to explore from a 
list of available modules. The students will then be assigned 2 modules to 
complete in a 4-5 week period.  
The students will work with a partner to complete the activities in each 
module.  Modules consists of written work, review questions, pre and post-
tests, and a variety of hands-on activities. A third module will be assigned 
and completed as a class-based activity.

         AutoCAD
         Bio-Technology
         Basic Drafting
         Computer Animation
         *Computer Numeric Control
         *Conveyors and Sensors
         Desktop Publishing
         Engineering
         Research and Design
         *Robotics
         Sim City
         Solid Edge Software
         Video Production
         Weather & Meteorology
