What I'm Reading

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Okay, okay, so I'm not fond of
graphic novels, but this book may
have changed my mind. It is very
funny! READ IT! And sure, it
will count on your reading log.
Enjoy.

Flush

This is a great book by the
author of Hoot, and the theme is
also about the environment. This
time, it's about pollution and
the plot concerns a young
boy's efforts to preserve the
beautiful Florida coast.

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment

Imagine six kids born in a lab.
They look like regular people,
well...except for the wings!
Meet Max, Iggy, the Gasman, and
all the others as they try to
escape the Erasers!

Olive's Ocean

One day a woman appears at
Martha's door - with a note from
Olive, a classmate recently
killed in a car/bicycle accident.
Martha never knew Olive very
well, but she learns much about
herself in this very good novel!

Elsewhere

Elsewhere is where fifteen-year-
old Liz Hall ends up after she
has died. But Liz wants to turn
sixteen, get her driver's
license,
fall in love, go to college . . .
How can she let go of the only
life she has ever known and
embrace a new one? Thanks to
Sama!

The Young Man and the Sea

This is a GREAT book about a boy
who tries to salvage a lobster
boat and his family following his
mother's death. In the meantime,
he deals with a bully and a giant
bluefish tuna!
