Tutoring Information |
Tutoring sessions will be on
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:05am.
Please note:
Tutoring is available for
students who desire help. Students should come to tutoring because they
have a desire to get help on a
concept that they are having difficulty understanding. Students should not simply come to tutoring
because they are being made to by parents.
The student must be willing to work in this session or he/she will be
dismissed from tutoring.
Format for attending
tutoring:
·
The student will
be issued a hall pass to staple in their planner. Students must show this pass to the teacher
on duty in order to enter the hallway.
If they do not have the pass with them, they will not be allowed to come
to my room.
·
The student
prepares at home by writing down questions that need to be answered or problems
that need to be worked.
·
The student hands
Mrs. Collins the paper with the prepared questions and problems upon entering
the classroom.
·
Mrs. Collins will
answer questions and work problems while the students take notes.
·
The students will
be given several practice problems relating to the questions and problems that
were prepared. This will be the
students’ opportunity to practice.
·
Students will be
dismissed if they are not paying attention and working.
