Mrs. Feathers was born in Highigland Park, Michigan. She has lived in eight
different states. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee and spent many
years working in the retail industry. She returned to school and earned a
Masters of Education degree from Georgia State University in 1992. She then
began teaching here at Keheley and has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades.
In 2002 she earned National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood
Generalist. She was named Keheley Teacher of the Year in 2003. Mrs. Feathers
is married and has two daughters. Jennifer attends law school at West
Virginia University, and Amanda just graduated from Kenesaw State Univerisity.
Her favorite subjects are Math and Science. In her spare time she enjoys
reading, antiquing, working in her garden and on her computer, and traveling
