I have been a teacher for 14 years and hold a Bachelor's degree in
Mathematics(grades 6-12) and a Master's degree in
Educational Leadership. I also hold certifications in gifted instruction and
teacher support. I began my career in Paulding County and made the jump to
Cobb County in 2003. In addition to teaching, I am currently serving as the
chairperson for the math department.
Math can be a difficult subject for many students. It is my mission to make
sure EVERY student is successful in his or her studies. While not every
student can earn an A or B, every student can make progress and leave my
classroom knowing and understanding more than when he or she entered. I
consider success to be dependent on a partnership between parents, students,
and myself.
