FRIDAY DEC 4:
1ST & 3RD:
REMEMBER TO BRING A REGULAR PENCIL TO CLASS FOR THE EOCT.
STUDY!!!: recommended time minimum 2 hours.
Here's a list of things to do to prepare:
1) Finish the review packet. Check answers against the correct answers I
gave you. If confused about any, phone a friend.
2) Read through your composition book of notes. Do not study Phi,
Geometric Sequences, or Circles (not on EOCT)
3) Access the state's EOCT study guide. I posted a copy on this website
under a new ICON that says EOCT STUDY GUIDE. It's 130 pages, so don't print
it. The review I gave you has all of the EOCT Prep Items from this guide.
In each of the 6 units, there are KEY IDEAS and REVIEW EXAMPLES that you can
review and study. These give a great idea of the types of questions on the
EOCT.
Here's the website where you can access it in case you can't retrieve the
copy from this website.
http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/
From the first page, find TESTING on the left side of the screen
then END OF COURSE
then on right side of screen find STUDENT GUIDES
then select Mathematics 1
4) Use the workbook I gave you today to review the sections you feel
weakest in.
5) Go through the key points in your red Math 1 book to refresh your
memory. The EOCT does not have any items on it from the purple book.
6) Pay special attention to the Statistics portions of the above since we
had to do a crash course today.
7) IF you PANICKED over a problem and can't find a friend to help you,
call me. HOME: 770 974 7823 CELL: 404 667 8903
8) I will be in my room at 7:45 Monday morning for last minute questions.
