For the week of December 14-18: The end is here. On Monday we will finish typing resumes and memos related to The Odyssey, and we will also introduct To Kill a Mockingbird, which we will watch and discuss over the next two days. Our final test (not a cumulative exam) is on Thursday, and it will focus on The Odyssey, with a few questions about the To Kill a Mockingbird film. It's been a great semester with this group of ninth graders. So great, in fact, that I have chosen to teach only ninth grade next semester.
