For November 9-13:
A request: If you turned in a typed copy of reading journals, as many of you
did, please email me a copy as an attachment. I'd prefer to comment
electronically. Thanks!
We have finished reading Hamlet (and there was much rejoicing), but we are
not done with the Danish prince yet. We will spend an additional day in the
media center this week working on research papers and will complete several
activities in class as we wrap up Hamlet.
In addition, we will introduce Wuthering Heights and begin reading the novel.
The reading schedule is posted below or can be printed as a separate handout
from our handouts page. Expect frequent quizzes over the reading. If you
want your own copy of Wuthering Heights, please get it by Wednesday.
Our test over Hamlet will be this Thursday, November 12.
Complete rough drafts of research papers, along with a works cited page, are
due on Wednesday, December 2.
