About The Teacher

Hi! or Hola  Welcome to my class.  Benvenidos a mi clase.
I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you this year.  This 
is my first year at Lewis, but I have taught for 25 years in other states 
and 
countries.  I have two grown children who in college and a dog named Molly.  
I love to read and hike in the Georgia mountains.

Espero la reunión y trabajo con todo usted este año. Esto es mi primer año 
en Lewis, pero han enseñado durante 25 años en otros estados y
países. Tengo a dos niños crecidos que en colegio y un perro denominó Lunar. 
Adoro leer e ir de excursión en las montañas de Georgia.

We will lead Georgia in improving the academic achievement of English 
Language Learners.

 

ESOL Program Mission Statement

The ESOL Program will ensure the equal worth and dignity of all English 
Language Learners making available the opportunity to fully gain access to 
programs and services provided by the State and Local Education Agencies so 
that English Language Learners can achieve to high standards, in both English 
language proficiency and content mastery, as needed to be successful at the 
postsecondary level and/or when entering the workforce.
