At Lewis we are part of the Olweus Bully Prevention Program. Bullying
behaviors are not tolerated at Lewis. The counselors teach guidance lessons
to help the students identify these behaviors and learn the best way to handle
bullying behavior and support the victim. This program stresses that everyone
has a role in preventing bullying behavior. It empowers the bystanders to
take action and put a stop to bullying. To learn more about the Olweus
program, please visit this web site.

This web site is for the students. It allows them to go through different
types of bullying behavior and become different participants in the bullying.
It helps the victim talk about what has happened and it will help the
bystander see what they could do to stop the bullying.
