Classroom Guidelines

Mrs. Roesel’s 4th Grade Class

These are the guidelines we will follow this year to learn, play, and have fun.

Classroom Guidelines

§ Respect and be kind to others.

§ Listen carefully to directions, and obey them.

§ Do not touch others.

§ Work quietly.

§ Work and play safely.

§ Raise your hand before you ask a question.

§ Listen quietly while others are speaking.

§ Do not bring toys or gum to class.

Hallway Guidelines

§ Respect our school’s property.

§ Be quiet in lines, hallways, and restrooms.

§ Walk only, no running.

§ Stay in line, and stay on the right side of the hall.

§ Always have a hall pass.

Lunchtime Guidelines

§ The students are expected to be respectful and courteous of the adults and peers in the lunchroom. They are to follow instructions from adults the first time every time.

§ The students will not be allowed to leave the lunchroom with the exception of an emergency.

§The students are expected to follow the procedures for walking in line in the lunchroom.

§ The students will raise their hands when they need help. They are not allowed to get up on their own. Lunchroom supervisors will help as necessary.

§ The students will face the table while seated and keep their feet under the table. They are not to talk to other children at other tables.

§The students will use QUIET voices.

§ When the class gets up to leave, the students will pick up all trash from the tables and the floor around the table.

§ The students will always use good manners at the lunchroom tables.

Our Promises

§ We will get along with each other and with our teachers.

§ We will be friendly to everyone.

§ We will be kind to each other: No putdowns, making fun of, or singling out anyone.

§ We will take turns and share.

§ We will respect others’ property.
