Hi everyone! Ms. Linda and I are excited about the new year. We are looking
forward to learning more about each student, thier families, and of course
teaching and prepairing them for kindergarten.
Our main goal as teachers is to instill a love for learning into every child.
We believe that to instill a love for learning, self confidence must be built
by providing a supportive environment. Motivation is also important in
instilling a love for learning into children. We believe that providing a
challenging and stimulating environment will foster motivation in the
classroom and will also create eagerness in the children at a very early age
so that lifelong learning will occur.
We also believe that having clearly defined rules and consistent procedures
will provide a positive learning environment for the children. We do this by
outlining the rules from day one, always providing positive choices for the
students to choice from, and having a posted daily schedule for the students.
Furthermore, we believe that a sense of community in the classroom is
important. We provide weekly jobs for the students so a sense of belonging
may be created in the classroom.
