About The Teacher
Hi and welcome to my webpage! My name is Leigh Kosater and I am very excited to be part of the speech team at Monarch School. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Georgia. (Go Dawgs!) My life experiences have led me to work in several systems in Georgia and have included working with children of all ages and special needs. I also taught at the University of West Georgia in their Special Education and Speech Pathology Department. I enjoy hanging out with my husband, Greg and my daughter, Hannah (she’s a teacher at Trickum Middle School), as well as playing tennis and reading. Our family is completed by our dogs, Liza and Max and our “granddog”, Pete.
