Mrs.Wicker and Ms. Peter's Math: Please continue to practice division at home
with your child!!
Our new unit is 2 Dimensional Geometry. This unit includes polygons, angles,
and naming the shapes. We will do many hands-on activities to remember the
names. We will be needing toothpicks, pretzels, gumdrops,and marshmallows
for this unit and our next one, which is 3D shapes. The family letter is
going home Monday
Science: We are enjoying our new unit of light and sound. This is
a fun time with lots of experiments! Thanks for sending in the supplies!
Reading: We are reading from Junior Great Books. The story will
be "Prot and Krot". Your child will be bringing home this reading book and
journal for the story. We will continue to work on this story Monday and
Tuesday
Writing:We are practicing our Informational writing by completing a brochure
about a colony.
**Grandparents Day is Monday and Tuesday! (Monday for 4th grade)
