I Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the week off from school. The next three weeks will be a whirlwind of activity....so here it goes. In Science we are studying matter and its physical and chemical changes. Look for testing out of this subject area on Thursday, Dec. 17 in the A.M. We are finishing up Reconstruction in Social Studies and will test out of that subject on Friday, December 4. We are having our Spelling Bee in the classroom to decide who our classroom representative and alternate will be for the school Spelling Bee. We will have two more spelling units and tests before the Winter Break and one more Wordly Wise Test. We will be going to the Symphony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on Wed., Dec. 9. All of fifth grade is asked to dress nicely for this performance, no jeans, no T-shirts....church attire. This is always a wonderful experience. Our Holiday Party is scheduled for Thurs., December 17th at 1-2P.M. The last day of school is Friday December 18th. I would like to take this time to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season, a peaceful and joyful time spent with family and friends....and in advance of the New Year, wishes for the return of prosperity for all and good health. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
