This is my 9th year teaching at Mountain View Elementary. I am a native of
Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University in
Kalamazoo, Michigan more years ago than I care to or can remember. I have
been a parapro in Kindergarten at Keheley Elementary, taught 4th grade at
Sanders Elementary, which led me to 4th Grade at Mountain View, and finally
5th Grade.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Bob for 36 years. We have been
blessed with two wonderful grown children...Jessica is married to our son-in-
law Andrew and currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a
nurse. They have given us our first grandchild, Caelan, who we adore. Being a
grandma is the best job on earth! Caelan will be one year old on January 8th
of 2010. Our son Jonathan is currently working in Alpharetta and is an Auburn
graduate as is Jessica. He is single and enjoying travel and life in general.
I am a "foodie" and love to read, collect cookbooks and recipes, as well as
try them out. I love fresh flowers, trying different restaurants, reading (in
the summer, the luxure of pedicures, jazz, the theatre, and traveling when
time and funds permit.
I am excited to be your child's teacher this year and look forward to
afantastic year of exploration, excitement, and learning.
