Ann Plumer, Ronn Colanino, Charles Townsend, Lucy Ward
Mrs. Plumer has been at MVPS for 24 years. She is a native Atlantan,
married with 3 children and 2 cute dachshunds. She attended University of
Georgia as did her husband and 3 children. Ann enjoys exercising,baking,
eating Mexican food.
Ms. Ward is excited about her fifth year at Mount Vernon. She is a graduate
of Kennesaw State University and a student at Walden University. Mrs. Ward
has six children ranging in age from 13 to 24. And news flash!!! She now has
a grandson and will be more than happy to show you pictures :) Her leisure
time is spent at the ball field watching baseball, football, softball, and
cheerleading. She can usually be spotted carrying a book with her to all of
these events, just in case a time out is called.

Mr. Townsend attended and graduated from Pittsburg State University in
Kansas and has taught a number of different grades in Kansas, Missouri, and
Illinois. He made the move to Georgia in July of 2007, and is enjoying the
southern hospitality he has received from many Atlantians. In his spare
time, he enjoys reading, watching the discovery channel, and spending time
with friends.
Mr. Colanino graduated from the University of Nebraska (Go Cornhuskers!!).
He then taught 6th grade math in Nebraska and Kansas before moving to
Georgia in 2001. He is a huge sports fan playing competitive volleyball
along with tennis. His other hobbies include music and reading. This will be
his third year at Mt. Vernon.
