Welcome. My name is Jackie Bold and I am a third generation Atlanta native.
This year will be my 20th year teaching in the Georgia school systems
including Bartow County, Atlanta Public Schools, and Cobb County. Teaching is
a large part of who I am for I love working with the children and celebrating
their accomplishments while supporting their challenges.
Besides a B.S. in Elementary Education degree, I hold a gifted certification,
a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Reading
and Literacy Instruction, and have completed “All But my Dissertation” for an
Ed. D. in Administrative Leadership for Teaching and Learning. My hope is to
complete my doctorate degree in May, 2010 and then continue to work with
the students I love to teach.
My two children attend Murdock Elementary which is a special place to be and
I appreciate the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary family. It is
an honor to work with your children and I take that responsibility seriously.
