 Please continue to use our PYP Blog to share the ways your children are exhibiting our Learner Profiles and Attitudes.  The students just "beam" when they see your comments up on our Smart Board!

                                       Important Dates

April 16-May 25-  PYP Unit of Inquiry- "Staying Alive"

Week of May 21- Fun Activities planned at Recess each day!
Monday-  Bring a puzzle.
Tuesday-  Bring a Board Game.
Wednesday-  Bring an outdoor toy-  ball, outside chalk, jumprope, bubbles, etc.
Thursday-  Bring a favorite book to read and stuffed animal.
Friday-  Bring art supplies-  water colors, coloring book, stamps, play dough, materials for making a puppet, etc.

*Please have your child choose one item to bring each day.

  
May 25- PYP "Staying Alive" Unit Celebration in your child's classroom beginning at 10:30AM-11:15AM.

May 28- Memorial Day- No School

Tuesday, May 29-  NDA Field Day -  First Graders may wear athletic shorts, Spirit Wear t-shirts hats, sunglasses  and sneakers.  Please send a lunch to school this day , labeled with your child's name.  Please apply sun screen that morning.  We will be eating our sack lunches outdoors that day, so blankets will be appreciated.
If you wish to take your child home after the Field Day activities,
 please sign him/her out with your child's teacher.

Wednesday, May 30-  First Grade Picnic (for the students only) outside.  Please send in a blanket if you have one available.

May 31- Last Day of School and Class Parties (beginning at 8:30 AM)- Students may be out of uniform.
