MID-WEEK ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mid-week
announcements/changes are posted here, in this section, so you do not need to
hunt the entire website for them.
LAST-WEEK-OF-SCHOOL SCHEDULE
TUESDAY
8:15 am - 12: 30 pm Field Day
- Fun-filled day!! Parents are invited to attend and watch these great outdoor activities. Bring a chair.
- PE clothing all day for the students. We will NOT change back into our school uniform after the Field Day activities.
- Sack lunch. No hot lunches are served today. We will picnic outside for lunch. Today only, it is acceptable to pack a home lunch from Chic-fil-a, Subway, etc. This is a great day to send your child with a special lunch.
- Water and popsicles are provided; bring a re-usable water bottle.
- Optional items to bring: re-usable water bottle, hat, sunscreen and towel for sitting out in the field.
Optional Check-out: Parents you may check out your child from school at the conclusion of the Field Day activities. Your teacher will have a check-out clipboard at the field for sign-out. However, it is a full day at this is not mandatory. The remaining class activity is described below.
12:45 - 2:50 pm Language Arts
All fifth-grade classes completed reading A Wrinkle inTime last week. We will now watch the movie.
WEDNESDAY
Full day of school.
2:45 pm: Fifth-Grade Walk
THURSDAY
8:15 - 9:15 am: Awards Ceremony (Grades 3 - 7)
9:20 - 10:00 am: Class Celebration and Year Book Signing

Summer Reminder: Summer reading is posted on each grade's website. Go to your new middle school website. The sixth grade site has your summer reading schedule. Enjoy your summer reading. Great books await you!
