I am very excited to be starting my fifth year at Notre Dame Academy teaching fourth grade.  Teaching is my passion and it is such a joy to see my students’ bright, smiling faces each day and to be blessed with the opportunity to share in their love for learning.

I have been teaching for 14 years and have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in mathematics and literacy.  I began at NDA with the opening of the school in 2005 and taught fourth grade for 3 years before moving to St. Louis, Missouri.  I taught fifth grade for  2 years at Immaculate Conception School in O’Fallon, MO before moving back to the Atlanta area last year.  I am looking forward to the new school year and sharing the wonderful novels and exciting PYP Units of Inquiry with my delightful fourth grade students.

I am thrilled to begin my fifth year at Notre Dame Academy.  After teaching both 2nd and 5th grades, I am so excited to join the 4th grade team!  I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Computer Science, and have my master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University.  We have a wonderful year planned with interesting Units of Inquiry, fascinating novels, and many new things to explore in technology.  I am looking forward to a year filled with learning, student achievement, and a growth in the faith and love of God!
