Homework:
Homework will be given Monday-Thursday.Please have your child read
every night in addition to completing the assignments written in the
agenda. Please see your childs agenda assignments should be written down
every day.

Report cards are coming home in the Friday Folder this week. Please keep
the contents inside at home, sign the envelope, and return the envelope to
school on Monday.

Reading:
Each day you should read a book or part of a book, if it is to
long for you to finish in one day. Write the title of the book you read in
your reading log.
Math:
Get someone to help you with the reading if you need. You should be
able to work the problems yourself. The homework will be practice from what
you learned in class that day.Have someone check your work and then you
correct any that are wrong. Circle the number of any problem you needed help
with.

Agenda:
Each day, write your assignments in your agenda. When someone at
home has checked your homework, ask them to sign at the bottom each day.

Snack/Water: I highly encourage that your child bring in a water bottle and
a healthy snack to school everyday. Water bottles will have to be taken home
daily to get cleaned. Please note due to PEANUT ALLERGIES please do not send
a snack in with peanuts/nuts. Thank you for being respectful of those with
nut allergies.

SuccessMaker At Home Program
Information and Order Form
Patrick Elementary School is using an educational software product from
Pearson Education Technologies. This unique product promotes the development
and maintenance of essential concepts, strategies, and skills in reading and
mathematics while combining realistic content with state-of-the-art
multimedia to create interactive environments for thinking and reasoning.
This product, called SuccessMaker Enterprise, constantly monitors each
student's performance and selects activities to fit the student's needs with
just the right instruction at just the right time. The curriculum software is
grounded in the latest research being used.

Students take the CRCT in April. Begin to review content now by practing
CRCT test skills online. A white sticker including your child's username and
password has been placed on his or her agenda. You can access the testing
site by clicking on the CRCT button on my website.
