My top priority is to serve the students, parents, faculty and staff of
River Road Elementary School.
The River Road Elementary School Guidance and Counseling Program aligns with
the MCSD Guidance mission as well as the American School Counselors
Association (ASCA) National Model and the district's mission statement which
is to provide a balanced, comprehensive, developmental guidance and
counseling program. The guidance and counseling program delivers learning
opportunities ensuring all students can achieve school success through age-
appropriate developmental activities. These activities are delivered through
the three ASCA domains; academice, career, personal-social. Activities and
lessons are systematically delivered through the following four components;
Curriculum, Individual Student Planning, Responsive Services and System
Support.
