Homework Reminders:
*A homework sheet is given the first day of the week. It is given to
provide practice & reinforce the skills taught. It also helps to develop
responsibility.
*Reading homework is a daily activity. Remember to record all books read.
Reading with your child will help them become better readers! This is one
of the most important things you can do to help improve your child's reading
skills! Let your child retell the story back to you and ask them questions
to help develop their comprehension skills. Discuss the vocabulary or any
unknown words in the story.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to check
on your child's progress please feel free send me a note, or you
may call me after 3:30 PM at 706-748-3072. Thanks for your continued
support of our educational endeavors! We appreciate all you do!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Oakes
