I have been teaching in the field of Speech Language Pathology for 25
years. My Undergraduate degree in Speech Therapy is from the University of
Alabama (Roll Tide!) Yes, I'm originally from Alabama, thus, my very
Southern accent. My Masters of Education in Speech Language Pathology is
from Columbus State University. I presentely hold Certification of Clinical
Compentency from the American Speech Hearing Assiociation, as well as my
Georgia State License in Speech Language Pathology.
I have been happily married to Jerry Speer for 34 years. Jerry has
been the Pastor of Northside Baptist Church for 28 years. Yes, that makes me
a Preacher's wife! We have two children. Jerison, who is a Physical Therapist
at The Hughston Clinic, married Stephanie Coker, 10/24/2009. My daughter,
Louise and her husband Jack are the parents of my first grandchild, Grace.
Yes, that makes me a Grandmother too!
