Science/S.S.- On November 2nd, we will begin our next S.S. unit entitled "Echos of the Past." We will be learning about indigenous people of the world, as well as the Creek and Cherokee tribes that lived in Georgia.

Math- We will begin Chapter 5 of EDM during the first week in November. This chapter has four main areas of focus: develping the concepts of point and line segment; identifying, naming and classifying polygons; observing differences among 3 dimensional shapes; and exploring symmetry.

Language Arts- We are currently studying action verbs.

SMART phonics- During the month of November, will be reviewing REVLOC, as well as the C-cycle Race, and G-Genie sounds. Please check your child's agenda on Monday afternoons. Spelling words are listed in the agenda. Please remember that Spelling tests on Friday will be based on the sounds that were learned that week, not merely the memorization of letters.
