I am so excited for another year at Sarah Smith!!
I moved to Atlanta in the summer of 2006 from South Florida, where I spent
most of my childhood. I was fortunate enough to attend an IB high school and
when I saw that Sarah Smith was receiving their certification, I knew it was
the perfect match for me. I began my studies at the University of Florida(GO
GATORS!!) and received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic
University. I am currently working on a M.A. in Educational Psychology of the
Gifted and Talented through the University of Connecticut.
I enjoy live music and playing tennis. During college football and
basketball seasons, you will often hear me speaking about the Florida
Gators. If you are a UGA fan, please accept my apologies ahead of time. Last
summer I adopted Layla, my beagle/corgi mix. She is adorable and a true angel.
I expect 110% from all of my students, everyday. This enables the children
to exceed expectations and become outstanding IB students. I promise to give
110% as a facilitator of the learning process.
