What is the SSEF? The Sarah Smith Education Foundation is a not-for-profit fundraising organization supporting the school's pursuit of excellence in education. The funds we raise enrich the learning environment available to every classroom and every child at Sarah Smith Elementary. The generosity of our supporters allows us to offer a curriculum not available at any other public elementary school in Atlanta. As the principal of Sarah Smith, I am very grateful to have a foundation that supports the work in our school of providing an "above and beyond" education for all of the students. In addtion, I sincerely appreciate the way the SSEF support teacher training, teacher conferences and our IB program. Attending the IB Americas Conferences each year as well as the IB World Conference every other year is a wonderful way to represent Sarah Smith Elementary and present our success to the world.
