On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays your child does have
homework.
It is routine that he/she must read for at least 20 to 30 minutes a night,
practice math facts for 10 minutes, practice the present week's high
frequency words, and complete the day's math Home Link. In a few weeks, your
child will be bringing home cursive sheets to practice his/her cursive.
In addition, they may be given other work to complete. The student's daily
agendas are written in consistently and are a great source of communication
for happenings and work that is to be completed. Please make sure to sign
those daily.
Homework will not be graded on right/wrong answers. However, it will be
graded for completion. It is your child's responsibility to complete any
assignments in a timely manner. Only written notes from parents will excuse
a child's homework being counted as late.
