Even though there is no required homework for kindergarten, it is very
important that you and your child take just 5-10 minutes a night to look at
his/her take home folder and review a few of the items from the list below:
-read to your child or have them "read" to you
-have your child skip count by 2's, 5's, and 10's
-rote counting by 1's
-tally a given number
-weekly phonics homework packet
- (+) and (-) 1,0 addition/subtration facts (i.e.1+1, 2+1, etc 1+0, 2+0, etc
1-0, 2-0 etc 1-1, 2-1 etc)
-identify and tell value of penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and dollar
