Welcome to Kindergarten at Sarah Smith! This is my fifth year of teaching
Kindergarten at the annex, and the eighth year of my teaching career. I
taught Pre-Kindergarten in Nashville for four years before relocating to
Atlanta. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I
attained a B.S. in Early Childhood Education (PK-3). I graduated with a
Masters of Early Childhood Education from Georgia State
University this past summer. I am excited to be a member of such a wonderful
educational
family at Sarah Smith, and I look forward to a great year!
It is my goal that every child in my classroom experiences academic and
social-emotional success in a safe, nurturing, and educationally sound
environment. It is important that each student feels that they matter as an
individual and begin to understand how their actions and knowledge base can
impact the social and academic environment that they are in.
