-Federal Impact Aid forms were sent home this week. (It was a blue form with
a letter on one side and a form you need to fill out on the other.) They are
due by 12/8/09. We need one from each student so if you haven't yet done so,
please turn it in by next Tuesday. Thanks!
-Our two fundraisers for the Ronald McDonald House and our "Helping Others"
Unit will take place next week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, students will be
able to purchase Candy Cane Grams to send to friends within our school for
$0.25 each. If your child would like to purchase Candy Cane Grams they will
need to bring their money on Tuesday or Wednesday and head to the auditorium
from 7:30-8:00 to make a purchase. Our class will be selling on Wednesday.
If you are interested in helping out, please let Lex or Nancy know ASAP. On
Thursday, we will have a Holiday Craft Festival from 2:45-3:45 in the gym. I
will be sending home permission slips next week if your child would like to
attend. Each child must have an adult present to attend the festival.
Students will be able to buy and make the crafts to take home with them.
There will be 14 different crafts stations with prices ranging from $0.25-
$1.00. If you have any interest in helping at the Craft Festival you may get
in touch with Lex or Nancy. Our goal is to raise $2,000 for the Ronald
McDonald House through these two fundraisers.
-You may also send in soda can tabs to help raise money for the Ronald
McDonald House.
-The SSEF Annual Campaign has begun. Thank you for your support as we try to
reach our goal for 2009-2010!
