About The Teacher

I am a native Georgian and Georgia Bulldogs fan.  I graduated from Mercer 
University in 2001 with a BBA in Marketing & Management.  I spent the next 
two years working in sports marketing for a local Atlanta marketing agency.  
Acknowledging my love for children and enthusiam for learning I returned to 
Mercer University to obtain my Early Childhood Certification.  Throughout my 
transition into education I have spent time working in Cobb County, South 
Fulton, and the Atlanta Public Schools systems.  In May 2007, I completed my 
MEd in Reading at Mercer University, Atlanta. 

I am honored to be a part of your child's education and a part of the Sarah 
Smith staff.  I look forward to a great year working with each and every 
family.

Mission For The Class

My goal is to make learning fun and successful for every student!  We work 
together to provide a supportive risk free environment where the children 
can learn and grow at their own pace.  The children will learn through a  
balance between academic and social develepmental activities.
