About The Teacher
My name is Kelly McQueen, and this is my sixth year as a media specialist. I am currently the media specialist at our Intermediate Campus. I live in Woodstock, Georgia with my daughter, Jessica. My husband is currently active duty military and is stationed at Fort Knox in Kentucky. also have a daughter at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and of course READING!!!!

Mission
The Sarah Smith Media Center is dedicated to designing and maintaining a program that supports, compliments, and expands the instructional program of an International Baccalaureate Elementary School. The media center seeks to provide a learning environment which promotes inquiry, stimulates intellectual curiosity, encourages pleasure reading, and develops diverse interests for the enjoyment of life-long learning. Additionally, the Media Center will provide and promote instruction to prepare students to become independent users of libraries and information resources.
