Dear Parents,
Beginning Monday November 30, 2009, we will begin our “Clockface” rules for
spelling. I will be sending home a fluency story every Monday to go along
each set of words. Please have you’re your child practice this story orally,
on a daily basis to improve fluency. The dictation sentences will also be
taken from this passage. Please use blanks at the bottom of the page to
initial daily, after each practice, and have your child bring it in on
Friday. Also, please continue to review spelling words with your child so
they will be successful on their quizzes. If you have any questions, please

Conference week is forthcoming!! Fall conferences will begin the week of
October 12, 2009. Look for your individual letters will be sent home
Wednesday October 7.
