We're halfway there! This is the last week for the 2nd quarter grades. It
has been a fun and busy year for sure!
Last week was packed with fun. We had the candy gram sale, which was a
great success for the first grade students who were raising money for the
Ronald McDonald house. Also, the Drama Club had a wonderful presentation
of "Fairy Tale Academy".
This week is indeed a busy one. We will be having our Tasty Treat Exchange
on Thursday this week (How-To papers are due Wednesday). It is not mandatory
that students bring in a treat. There are 20 students in the class. Please
be sure to supply whatever utensils are needed for the exchange (serving
spoons, etc).
We will be having our winter party this Thursday from 1:00-2:00. Parents
are welcome to come and enjoy.
Finally, we are moving! I will be boxing up student desks beginning
Wednesday. Friday, we will be moving student desks/chairs to the
gym/auditorium. Students will not have a tardy count against them if they're
dismissed after 11:30 a.m. I could definitely use the helping hands in the
morning for moving (10:30-11:00).
