About The Teacher

Mrs. Campbell has been teaching for fifteen years, 11 of which have been
spent here at Sarah Smith. After growing up in Pensacola, Florida, she
received her BA, double majoring in English and History, at Huntingdon
College in Montgomery, Alabama. She received her Masters in Early Childhood
Education in 1994 from Auburn University @ Montgomery. She lives in Sandy
Springs with her husband, Scott, a native Atlantian, and their cat,
Savannah.

Mrs. Campbell enjoys traveling anywhere, spending time with family and
friends, reading anything, sipping on good wine, and of course watching
AUBURN football WAR EAGLE!!! Her favorite place to visit is the beach!!

Mrs. Campbell is looking forward to an exciting year filled with learning,
growing, and wonderful memories with her kindergartners!

Mrs. Annie Brown is our para and she is a wonderful addition to our
classroom!! Mrs. Brown has been at Sarah Smith for 26 years and we are
truly lucky to have her as our para. Mrs. Brown has four children, three
boys and one girl, and six grandchildren. She is a native Atlantian and is
currently in school pursuing her teaching degree. Mrs. Brown loves to spend
time with her family cooking yummy meals for them. She also loves to fish
and garden in her spare time. She has been married to Walt for 37 years.
Mrs. Brown is excited about the new school year and looks forward to meeting
everyone soon.

Mission For The Class

My Mission for our class is to create excitement and build confidence in
learning, to follow the Golden Rule: TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD WANT TO
BE TREATED, to develop a strong partnership with each family, and to build a
positive home to school relationship. It is my goal to create a child
centered learning environment where every child is successful and each child
feels valued!!
