Students will have homework assignments Monday-Thursday. Homework
assignments will consists of the following:
Math: Math assignments will be given to practice a current lesson or review
previously taught standards. Also, practice basic addition, subtraciton,
multiplication and division flash cards. Addition math facts will be drilled
daily until further notice. After addition, we will have timed
subtraction math facts drills with multiplication and division to follow.
Spelling/Grammar: Look for a new spelling list every Monday. Tests are given
every Friday. Students will be tested on spelling and definition. Your child
will have spelling homework nightly.
Grammar assignments will be given two nights per week. These assignments will
be used to practice and apply standards currently being taught in class.
Reading: Please have your child read for at least 20 minutes every night.
Science/Social Studies: Occasionally your child may have to complete a
science or social studies homework assignent.
Attention Parents!!!
Please be sure to check for specific homework assignments in your child's
agenda each night. Also, please review the completed assignments and sign
each night. Your signature is documentation that you have reviewed the
assignments and checked to see if they were completed.
