Book Reports / Projects

The October Book Report is due on Thursday, December 17, 2009.  

November December Book Report

Genre:  Read a nonfiction book about some aspect of the U.S. government
Due Date:                                                                

Your book report will consist of two parts. 

Please be sure that you follow the directions carefully.

Part 1 - 	The written report:  Exactly three paragraphs to contain the following:
	
Paragraph 1: The title, author and illustrator (written as a short paragraph)

Paragraph 2: In this paragraph you should write a few sentences that explain what your book 			    
is about.  Be sure to describe how the information in your book is presented.

		Paragraph 3: Include all of the following information.  								
1.  Tell whether or not you enjoyed reading this book and why.  
2.  Did the author make it interesting? Explain why or why not.							
3.  Do you think your friends would enjoy reading this book? 
		     Tell why or why not?  Be specific!

Part 2 - 	Accompanying Visual:

		Create an accordion booklet that displays some of the information from your book.  (I will 			
show you how to fold the paper for your booklet.)  Be creative and do your best work! 

Reminder:  Please write in complete sentences.  Be sure to correct all errors in spelling, punctuation and 
capitalization.  It is your assignment and you should do all the work, but parents make great 
proofreaders.  Don’t procrastinate!!  Begin right away!!!
