Overview:
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed to serve students who are at risk of not
reaching or maintaining academic grade level. The purpose of the Early Intervention Program is
to provide additional instructional resources to help students obtain the necessary academic
skills to reach grade level performance in the shorest possible time.


Staffing:
EIP is staffed by certified teachers.

Delivery Model:
Combinations of the following models may be used depending on the unique needs of the children.
In an augmented model EIP services are incorporated into the regular class by reducing the
teacher / pupil ration. In a pull-out model, EIP services are provided by small group
instruction.
