Meal Applications: Please return the Meal Application forms to your child’s
teacher as soon as possible. Our goal is 100% return. If you do not wish
to apply, simply check the box marked “I do not wish to apply” and sign the
form before returning it to your child’s teacher. If you have multiple
children at SRS, you should utilize one form and return it to the classroom
teacher of your oldest child. Remember, the form must be completed in black
ink only.
Kindergarten Orientation: Tuesday, August 25, 2009 is Kindergarten
Orientation Night! This is a time that your family can find out about
protocols and routines in your child’s classroom. Our teachers will also be
discussing our instructional programs offered here at the Kindergarten
Campus.
Carpool: If you are utilizing carpool to transport students to and from
school, please remember that our carpool pick-up/drop-off site is located
behind the school. In order to make sure that we are keeping our students
and families safe as they transition to and from school, I ask that we
always utilize the appropriate drop-off/pick-up space behind the school
building. The front parking lot of the school is dedicated to school bus
pick-up/drop-off.
Sign-In, Sign-Out: Please remember to stop by the front office to sign our
visitor’s log each time you visit the Kindergarten Campus during the school
day. It is very important that we keep an accurate record of all visitors
in the building.
Get Home Plans: The very best way to advise us of a change in your child’s
get home plan is to send a note the teacher. Pin it to their shirt/jacket
or place it in their book bag. If the get home plans changes during the
school day, you are welcome to email the teacher and copy Ms. Bobbie and I
on the email. You may also wish to call the school directly.
