The students continue to work hard each day to demonstrate the traits of
a "Fourth Grader"...I'm so proud of them for demonstrating their ability to
work cooperatively, listen attentively and be responsible:-)
We are progressing very nicely in Math. Students will begin Unit 6 in Math
the week after Thanksgiving Break.
We continue to adapt to the new Reading program...students seem to enjoy the
stories and it lends itself to opportunities to utilize and develop skills
to be successful on the CRCT.
Don't forget: Our second Literacy Club project is due on November
20th...students were given a file folder to utilize in completing
the "Biography File Folder" project. Students should have already selected a
Biography to use for this project.
Don't forget to send your student with a healthy EACH DAY!
Students should also be reading for 40 minutes a night and practicing their
multiplication facts (especially as we progress through the math curriculum,
success depends greatly on thier mastery of the facts!
Thanks for all of the donations of both the daily treats and the treasure
box prizes. Please continue to send both in as the students are working hard
to earn money toward purchasing items from the treasure box and of course,
getting a daily treat EACH DAY for monitoring their behavior throughout the
day (THEY LOVE THAT!)
