My name is Christina Gray and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach
your child this year. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in June of 2007. Prior to
my arrival at Sarah Smith, I taught in New York as a First Grade teacher and
a Kindergarten teacher. I’m a native New Yorker who has a love for the south.
When asked “what brings you to the south?” I definitely say family, friends
and the joy of being in a place that feels like home!
I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I’ve served in various
capacities such as the school based council, planning read-a-thons, summer
school programs and providing general K-2 support. Most important of all I
have a love for children, teaching and learning.
It is my pleasure to be apart of such a wonderful community of people who
put children first and strive to help them reach their fullest potential.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year!
Our mission is to develop confident learners who aren't afraid to express
their ideas and take risk. We also strive to develop hearts and minds that
care for others, show respect and have a concern for the world around them.
