About The Teacher
Miss Rachel Elizabeth Champ was born and raised in North East Ohio. She studied at the Bowling Green State University, at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and at Kent State University, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Piano Performance. She also attended The Ohio State University and received her Master of Arts degree, in the field of Music Education. At Shaw she teaches intermediate women's chorus, advanced mixed chorus, multiple ensembles, and class piano levels one and two. After school she works with music students for all state chorus, vocal and piano lessons and for any additional musical help! She loves the Ohio State Buckeyes and actually has a dog named Buckeye. She also enjoys to ski and has been ranked number one in her age and gender bracket in Ohio for multiple years! And last, and most importantly, she loves her students and works hard to fulfill their needs!
