Mrs. Tovey has been teaching a variety of Law and Justice courses at Shaw
High School for ten years. Prior to that, she was a detective assigned to
the Sex Crimes Unit at the Columbus Police Department, where she was a police
officer for ten years. Mrs. Tovey was also assigned to the Patrol Division
at CPD, and was a DARE officer.
Mrs. Tovey currently sponsors the Mock Trial Team and is one of the four
advisors for SkillsUSA.
