Response to Intervention

According to the Georgia Departmet of Education, Response to Intervention (RTI ) is a learning process that matches general education classroom instruction to each student’s learning needs.

Smyrna Elementary strives to provide appropriate support for our students. Support is provided to our students in the form of research based interventions that are developed through a team process.

Parents, we consider you to be the expert on your child and we value your input and opinion. Together we can make positive decisions to promote student success!

Please View the Cobb County Parent Handout for additional information about the RTI process.
