Homework
The homework sheet will be sent home every Monday in the "Take Home Folder"
and will list all assignments for the week.
***This week's spelling words are: read, live, dove, lead, sow, does, tear,
wind, close, presents. BONUS WORDS: minute, wound, resign, refuse, bass***
When you do your spelling homework only do the circled words. The words
that are not circled are the words your child already knew on the pretest.
There is no need to practice the words they already know how to
spell.
Learn how to read these words. You should read them quickly. Do not sound
them out. (above, girl, sometimes, mountain, cut)
Monday Assignment
Math: None
Reading: Read The Butterfly Seeds; record in agenda
Spelling: Write your words in alphabetical order
Other: Read the Reading Comprehension handout. Make sure
you sign it and return it on Friday.

Tuesday Assignment
Math: None
Reading: Read The Butterfly Seeds; record in agenda
Spelling: Choose one activity on the other side of the homework
paper.
Other: Practice vocabulary words at the bottom of the reading
comprehension handout.
Wednesday Assignment
Math: None
Reading: Read anything you want; record in agenda
Spelling: Spell your words out loud to your parent
Other: Sign the Wednesday Owl folder

Thursday Assignment
Math: None

Spelling: Study spelling words.
