The homework sheet will be sent home every Monday in the "Take Home Folder"
and will list all assignments for the week.
***This week's spelling words are: peace, forth, eight, four, into,
notebook, turnovers, something, everything, whatever. The bonus words
are: No bonus words this week***
When you do your spelling homework only do the circled words. The words
that are not circled are the words your child already knew on the pretest.
There is no need to practice the words they already know how to
spell.
Learn how to read these words. You should read them quickly. Do not sound
them out. (people, who, where, how, which)
Monday Assignment

Spelling: Write your words in alphabetical order. You only
have to do your circled words.
Other: Read over the Reading Comprehension handout.
Make sure you turn it in on Friday.
Tuesday Assignment

Spelling: Write your words in sentences; use lots of adjectives
Other: Practice the fluency and vocabulary words on the Reading
Comprehension handout.
Wednesday Assignment
Math: None
Reading: Read Jalapeno Bagels; record in agenda
Spelling: Spell your words out loud to your parent.
Other: Sign the Wednesday Owl Folder.
Thursday Assignment
Math: None
Reading: Read Jalapeno Bagels; record in agenda
Spelling: Study your words. The Spelling Test is tomorrow.
Other: Study vocabulary words. Reading and Vocabulary Test is
tomorrow.
