Meet The Nurse:   

 

My name is Kimberley Kindall-Flores, I am the new school nurse here at the “Creek”.  First,I would like to welcome everyone to the 2008-2009 school year.  I am very excited about what this new school year has in store.

I graduated from the "University Of Tennessee" @ Knoxville in 1987 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Health. In 2000, I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University, here in Atlanta.  My nursing back ground is “Maternal/Child" nursing, Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care. Before coming to Sope Creek, I was the school nurse at Sedalia Park Charter School.  I have a special place in my heart for kids and their special health care needs.

The clinic is open from 7:30am to 2:30pm M-F.  I provide limited basic care to children who my be sick or injured, assist in administering appropriate medications, and treatments.  I do not make diagnosis, as I am not a physician.  The care provided is according to the guidelines outlined by the School Health Service program for Cobb County Schools.
