Week of Sept. 2-5
Reading-We'll continue to make predictions, connections, study character
traits, and write story summaries as we read Henry and Mudge stories.
Writing- Our target goal is to consistently write complete sentences with
correct capitals and punctuation.
Word study- Spelling patterns for short o words, ABC order, practice with use
of dictionaries and thesauruses, nouns ( common, proper, singular, plural)
Math- We'll cover skip counting patterns, even and odd numbers, and problem
solving.
Science- What is matter? What are the states of matter and their properties?
